My First Blonde

I always remembered Jayne Mansfield as being my first blonde crush, meaning B.M. (before Marilyn); but I came across this picture the other day. I have often told people that my parents were full-fledged Beetles Maniacs and that some of my earliest memories are of dancing to Seargant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Back then my favorite song was Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, but my parents played that album over and over and over again so I knew the whole thing by heart. I used to lay on my stomach with my chin propped on my hands, studying all the images on the album cover. There were so many things to look at, but I was always riveted by the blonde in the evening gown. Later on, when I was a teenager fully into my Blonde stage, I think I assumed the lady on the album cover was Jayne. I later found out it was Diana Dors. I look at that picture now and think about how deeply that image must have been imprinted on my psyche.

Devastation!!

I was finally feeling creative. Then last night my iPhone completely crashed. I had to reinstall the software and put it back to factory condition. I lost really important data, most notably pictures for my 365 project that hadn’t been synced yet. I had literally just looked at them hours before the crash and thought to myself, now we’re getting somewhere!

Or not. But I’m not going to give up; I’m just really, really angry.

Here is a list of my Top 10 Games for the iPhone (in no particular order):

I also play Papaya Pro everyday, which is a game community app with several games, avatars, chatting, etc. Several of the games on my list above are OpenFeint, which means you can share them with online communities.
